Why a label specifically for generative AI?

Generative AI (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude…) raises specific ethical challenges that go beyond traditional algorithms: generation of misleading content, hallucinations, copyright issues, model opacity, environmental impact, etc.

The ADEL – Gen AI Label enables organisations to:

• Formalise a usage policy for generative AI (charter, rules, scope)
• Assess and manage specific risks associated with LLMs (Large Language Models)
• Train employees in best practices for responsible use
• Establish appropriate governance and review processes
• Obtain an external certification attesting to the approach
