ADEL Labels (Algorithm Data Ethics Label) are certifications that distinguish digital projects, AI systems and uses of generative AI that are committed to an ethical and responsible approach, in compliance with the European AI Act regulation.

ADEL-AI Act is specifically dedicated to AI systems and their compliance with the European AI Act regulation.
ADEL-AI Use assesses the use of generative AI within organisations.
Each ADEL label is valid for 2 years. At the end of this period, renewal with a new audit is required to maintain the certification.
ADEL Labels apply to all sectors using digital systems or AI: Industry, Healthcare, Finance, Insurance, Aeronautics, HR, Education, Public Administration, Defence, as well as all software publishers and AI system developers.
The minimum score to obtain a label is 65% (Bronze level). Silver (≥ 75%) and Gold (≥ 85%) levels recognise higher degrees of ethical commitment.
